Recently, in South Korean, a man who died days before had been infected with Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), caused an outbreak of a virus. It is the worst MERS outbreak outside Saudi Arabia, where the respiratory virus is thought to have originated three years ago. For now, 41 people infected and near 2,000 people in quarantine or under observation. In order to limit the spread of the potentially deadly MERS virus, hundreds of schools have been closed.
MERS coronavirus is a disease caused by a new virus that can cause a rapid onset of severe respiratory disease in people, which belongs to the same group of coronaviruses that includes SARS and the common cold.,but unlike SASR, it’s not as transmissible between people that will not cause a global outbreak. It usually spreads from person to person, probably via contact with respiratory secretions, so it requires very close contact, i.e. rubbing eyes and picking noise. The common symptoms include fever, cough, running nose, sore throat and breathlessness, with an average incubation period of five to six days.

The outbreak of MERS in South Korean cause a series of reactions. Tourism is the first one get hit. Numbers of tour groups cancel their following trips to South Korean spontaneously, even without any official notify from governments. Additionally, the spread speed may not as fast as SARS, based on current situation, but it doesn't mean that it will not mutate into a new and easily spread virus. It just the beginning to South Korean.
