Several e-waste recycling companies have been established in India, like E-parisaraa, Attero Recycling and Trishyiraya Recycling. Attero is the biggest e-waste management company, which is the only company in india among seven with the capability to extract pure metals and rare earths from e-waste in an eco-friendly manner(Attero 2013). The company owns a 100,000 sq ft.factory in Roorkee, and recycled nearly 15 tones of e-waste everyday in 2011. Even in 2010, India generated close to half a million tonne of e-waste and grown by20-25%. In an other word, everyday, the e-waste recycled by Attero only account for 1% in the whole market. E-waste is a huge market, as well as a huge source of pollution.

The major wicked problem faced by e-waste recyclers is the lack of awareness among individuals. Unlike in developed countries, most of people in india have no environmental protection consciousness. Their priority consideration is to satisfy their physical demands, e.g. food, clothes......Due to the fact, the saturation of e-waste recyclers in India is awkward. On one side, e-waste recycling benefits environment and people’ health, and only these certified companies have ability to deal with e-waste effectively;on the other hand, new technology companies encroach on traditional recyclers' benefits. It is an economic game as well as a conscious game.
The road of development of e-waste recycling companies in India is still long...
